Inpatient Rehabilitation

West Rest Haven provides the highest quality in Rehabilitation Services for Long-Term and Short-Term stay Residents. If a resident is admitted for Short-Term stay and would like to transition to Long-Term Care, it would be dependent upon bed availability.

Outpatient Rehabilitation

West Rest Haven provides the utmost quality care in Out-patient Rehabilitation Services. Our professional therapist specialize in individual care by evaluating and treating each patient one-on-one and are committed to assist patients with meeting their goals and reaching their prior level of function quickly. No hospitalization is required for this service, only a doctor’s referral.

The Scope of Patient Care

Physical Therapy

The primary goal in Physical Therapy is to assist patients in achieving their highest functional level of independence. Physical Therapy also helps in preventing further decline in the individual’s ability to participate in activities of daily living.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy uses task directed activities in the treatment of people whose ability to function is impaired by illness, injury, normal aging or developmental disability. Treatment goals include functional independence, maintenance of wellness, prevention of further disability and increasing safety awareness.
